About Our Staff Navos seeks caring and innovating staff who are eager to respond to the challenges of a changing health care system. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people vulnerable to mental illness, by providing a broad continuum of care and have a team of highly competent staff who are gratified and satisfied in their roles. We offer responsive, accessible, and effective mental health services in partnership with our community so that families and individuals at all stages of life can achieve and sustain health and wellness. Our benefit package to full-time and part-time regular staff include: Medical & Dental Insurance: Group Health Medical coverage is available, choice of either basic policy (in-network only) at 100% premiums paid for full-time, or "buy-up" plan (in or out of Group Health facilities) at an additional monthly cost. Spouses, domestic partners and children may be covered at employee's expense. Dental (as of 2/1/08) is with Washington Dental Service. Planned Leave: For regular Outpatient clinic work: 22 days of Planned Leave per year for the first three years of employment, then increases annually up to 30 days per year. Inpatient and other 24/7 facilities start at 30 days per year. Paid Holidays: 8 days per year Free Parking: at all Navos sites Life Insurance: Fully paid life insurance and short-term disability insurance premiums, other options available at employee expense. Tax Free Reimbursement Accounts: Section 125 Plans 401(k): tax sheltered retirement plan (with employer contributions). Training: Free on-line and in-house training, $300/3 paid days per year for all outside training. YMCA Membership: Navos pays the employee's initial joining fee, and contributes toward the monthly membership fee Educational Assistance: up to $1200 per year (after 2 years of employment) toward additional education that is in keeping with the Agency mission. Employee Assistance Program : provided by Wellspring Family Services; includes short-term counseling, information and referral services, 24-hour telephone assistance, etc. to employees and their family members. Wellspring also provided on-site de-briefing consultation to individuals and/or teams following a traumatic event in the workplace. AFLAC, Pre-Paid Legal: options available Navos also offers a pro-rated benefit package for part-time employees working 20-39 hours per week. Contact Human Resources for more information.
