Navos provides services to the most vulnerable people living with serious mental illness. We are treating our children, providing homes for our homeless, helping people find jobs and changing the way mental healthcare is delivered.

Navos is being displaced by the opening of the third runway at Seatac Airport. Realizing we have to move, we have focused our planning efforts on finding a site with convenient access to our low income clients. The new Mental Health and Wellness Center in Burien will provide 45,000 square feet for specialized services for children, families and adults on three floors.

To date, many individuals and local businesses have joined the cause. Most of the funds needed to complete the 13.5 million dollars capital project have been received from federal and state government sources. However, 3 million dollars in philanthropic support is necessary to leverage the public funds and complete the facility.

Mental illness is at the root of many of our society’s most confounding problems like poverty, homelessness, drug abuse, chemical dependency and violence. Untreated mental illness costs our society more than 100 billion dollars each year, and leaves a devastating path in our community. Each one of our lives is touched by mental illness.
